Skeptical Briefs #1

For those of you who are new to skepticism or are just in need of a handy reference, I’m introducing a regular Skeptical Brief. This new segment covers bullet points for basic skeptical topics. Today’s topic: What is Skepticism?

Skepticism Is:

*investigating claims using multiple verifiable credible sources of information on any topic.

*the philosophical position that one should suspend judgment in investigations.

*Confirm assertions with data from multiple credible sources.

A credible source is:

*Multiple investigative journalistic or scientific facts which can be independently verified.
