Can We Be Skeptical About Everything?

Is it possible, considering our human biases, to be skeptical about everything?

All of us are raised differently. Our genetics predispose us to different habits and characteristics. Our daily interactions and exposures color our views. With all of this input the questions becomes: Is it possible to completely put all of this aside and be skeptical about absolutely everything in our lives?

Of course skepticism is a learned behavior. Some, like myself, become skeptics later in life while others are born to it. Does this second group have an advantage beyond an early start? It is likely that group two makes fewer mistakes related to scams and shysters. What are the other advantages that group two might have?

Does group one have any advantages?

What do you think?
