Everybody Draw Muhammad Day!!

After the recent death threats leveled at South Park creators for depicting the prophet Muhammad in a bear suit, cartoonist Molly Norris has declared May 20th the first annual “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day”.

This is an excellent way to counter the fear these extremists try to instill.

I, for one, will be participating this year so look for my artful drawing of Muhammad on May 20th!

It is a movement, in action. The date no longer is meaningful.
There was and iis no planning body. Nor is coordination needed; browse the Web and see the great amount of activity.

The most useful way for anybody to further the movement is to provide a site for the submission of the creative items (drawings, photos, videos), and to widely publicize the site’s availability.

The second most useful way is to create something and to post it now in places
    that are available now.

The third most useful way is to commumicate the information that I have stated here.
